New Bed

A few weeks ago Andy and I decided it would be better for Kaylee's room to have a bunk bed rather than her queen size bed she had been sleeping in since she was two. So I did some research and found a GREAT bargain on a bed. I tried to find a bunk bed on craigslist yet could not find the deal or bed I wanted, so president's weekend I found one from Ashley furniture and mattresses from R&S. So as you can see from the pictures Kaylee was VERY happy to have a new bed. She thinks she actually picked it out and will tell everyone that she picked her bed, lets just say I guided her to the decision for the white bunk bed. Enjoy the pictures!

Don't you just LOVE the cheesy grin. Like I said she really loves her new bed.

The Zoo and GOOD friends

I have to admit that my day did not start out the way I had planned. Of course I also did not plan to have my three year old up until after 11pm last night so as you can imagine we all slept in this morning well at least until a little after 7am. I know I know I am so spoiled. However I had this great plan to drop soup off to my in laws, get my sister’s stroller for our adventure to the zoo and then be at the zoo by 9am. Well I failed miserably. Good thing I have an amazing friend who did not care that I was going to be late. This is another example of how God has a different plan for me know matter what I plan. He seems to be teaching me this lesson a lot; you would think that I would have learned the first time. I guess I needed one more reminder that God has control of my life and what happens no matter what the circumstance is, even the small details of errands.

We visited the Phoenix zoo today and had a great time with Eileen and her son Daniel. She is living in Little Rock now so I don’t get to see her a lot but I do get to talk to her often. We both commented on how we talk more now then we did when she lived her in Phoenix. I am so excited for her and the direction God has chosen to take them although I miss my friend when she is gone. We also had lunch together it is fun to see the similarities in Kaylee and Daniel and the differences he is all boy that is for sure. We had a great time and I was sad to drive off in a different direction, at least we can still talk on the phone.

I did eventually get all of errands completed just not in my timing. I reminded daily that it is ALL that I do for the glory of God and not just the big things. So I am off to clean the house because I as a Christian wife am called to have a Godly home plus I like for Andy to come home to a clean environment, it helps him relax.

Eileen thanks for the great day and for being a wonderful friend I love you very much!
